BOOK REVIEW : Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven

Today I'm gonna write a book review on a novel that I recently read. Actually I had once read the novel and I did find out that the novel is quite interesting and catchy. So I decided to read it one more time and yeah, it's a worth-reading! Actually I'm not really a fan of second chance romance book because yahhh- I shouldn't tell here why- but this one was done perfectly. I knew about this book from one of my best friend named Mawaddah or I just call her Mek Dah all the time. She was the one who had always persuaded me to read this book and now I know why she really wanted me to read it. Thanks to her, finally I made it to the last page of Bad Romeo!

HAHAHA at first I really wondered why the title of this novel was BAD Romeo. Why it must to be referred as BAD? Lots of questions lingered around my mind on that time. But this was one of the books that had given a perfect mixture of fun and intense and I hung on every word while reading.

Cassie Taylor was a good girl acting student and Ethan Holt was a bad guy around campus. Both of them were destined to work together as the main cast in the school drama entitled Romeo Juliet. The Romeo and Juliet had changed everything in their life. For a young ,torturing and brooding man like Ethan, letting someone in wasn't something easy, but somehow, Cassie was able to break some of his walls and he couldn't insist to have relationship with her. In the end, their relationship did not end well as Ethan ended up shattering Cassie's heart into pieces and left her. The reason for Ethan to do that is: he feared. He had problem in trusting people. He had the same problem towards Cassie too. That's why he broke her up.

Years later, Ethan was changed. He knew that he couldn't live without Cassie and he wanted her back. He would do anything to make Cassie getting back to his side. They had once again reunited as their passionate love towards each other had confronted them to put away their love conflicts in their former college.

“Don’t even try to tell me you’ll ever love someone as much as you love me, because as arrogant as it is to say, that’s bullshit. And I feel the same way about you. Everyone else is just going to be second best for us. Don’t you get that?”

Both of them were changed. Ethan was broody in the past and in the present he had became someone who was completely different- he is perfect. From a very hilarious, understanding and fascinating woman in the past, Cassie had turned out to be someone who wasn't exactly the same. I couldn't blame her for being the way the was as I knew what she had been through that had ended up making her to be like that.

I do love this novel because of Ethan. ETHAN HOLT. The most dashing guy and coolest guy that I can ever admire even though he is only a character in a novel- for sure the guy like him would never exist in the real world. He have it all. He is perfect I can say. Having problem in trusting someone in his life is the only flaw he has. The ending is quite depressing for this one but now I eagerly want to read the sequence of the book : BROKEN JULIET asdfghjkl I can't wait for thattttttttttt.

I rate this book 4.8/5 :)

That's all for my book review. Annyeong!

xoxo,
Iffah
